Yesterday I had a super good brunch with my cousin + cousin-in-law as well as Wyman who was my emcee partner for Gary&Felicia's wedding! (My cousin & cousin-in-law respectively)


Despite being on the pricey side, I have to say the food quality does justification to the prices. 

It was my second visit to this particular outlet since my first visit in Feb 2012 and it is still as crowded as ever. However the staff was quite attentive and we waited a reasonable amount of time for our food on a crowded Sunday. I never had a chance to visit the outlet at Mandarin Gallery cos that outlet does not take reservations and you have to be prepared for a long wait for a table especially during peak hours.

Plus - you can make reservations online for the Scotts outlet via chope.com.sg (http://reserve.chope.com.sg/?rid=wildhoney78bbvza-4)  which is so convenient! Although I did encounter some problems trying to do it and I ended up calling the restaurant directly instead -_-



Funny thing was there was this lady who was obviously having a hen's celebration cos she had a tiara and sash. But in the middle of the day at 2 in the afternoon at an all-day breakfast restaurant!? First time witnessing that. 

Felicia had the English breakfast which was the full works with eggs (scrambled), sausages, toast and stuff. Char had that the previous time I went and I remembered it to be so-so only. I would recommend that you skip the ordinary items (like eggs ben and big breakfast) and try their other dishes with twists to the conventional ones that you can find in most other places. (like my Parmesan crumbed poached egg - so good!)

It was a splendid time catching up though poor Wyman was prolly trying to catch up with all the gossip we were exchanging about our family members hahaha. 

I would go back to Wild Honey again. (Only when I'm feeling rich and with money to spare haha)

After spending 2.5 days in Phnom Penh (which is really more than sufficient), we packed our bags and got ready to set off to Siem Reap!


The cheapest form of traveling from Phnom Penh to Sieam Reap should be the bus (walking not inclusive). Apparently there were different types of buses available, and the prices differ with the range of 'services' they offer such as air-con, toilet, and even wi-fi.

Being the cheapskates that we were, we decided to go for the cheapest option available, which supposedly promised a toilet.

No way man. It was an old rickety bus, and the air-con vents above were dripping blackish water down on to poor Kang. Lol we managed to curb most of the dripping by stuffing tissue into the air-con vent.

Ever since I first laid eyes on the Proenza Schouler PS1, I knew I had to get my hands on it some day.


And that day came when I was feeling utterly in the dumps and *almost* to the point where I thought no amount of shopping could cheer me up at all, sometime in February 2012.

Then I happened to come across Kepris and they were having an on-going PS event.

This bag practically hypnotised me on the spot. Clearly I wasn't able to just buy a bag that costs $2,000+ at a go like that. Fortunately (or it may be unfortunately), they offered interest-free installment payment plans with UOB and I think I just received my UOB Ladies' Card...

And it was the point of no return.

After reading through the terms & conditions and determining the monthly repayment plans, I bought the bag a few impulsive clicks later.

It did bring me out of the doldrums for a while as I looked forwardly excitedly for my bag to be delivered! However boys and girls this kind of happiness is only short term so do not learn from me! Hahahaha. Retail therapy is good but is short-lived. Although my favourite quote is still "I may be a mess. But at least I'll be a well-dressed mess." Lame excuse to justify my non-stop shopping wahhaha.

Although I do love my PS1 very much and its classic camel color proves to go well with basically any other colors, it would have been more eye-catching with more poppish colors as they have now, like turquoise and yellow and what not which regrettably, was not within my choice of selection at the time I bought it.

In any case, I still do like it very much and am currently lemming for another PS bag which is the PS11...! Anyone wanna consider getting for me for Christmas!? LOL.

This time round, I'd be sure to get one in a funky color. Although tbh Black does have a very classy feel to it. Which color catches your eye? :)
